Overview

ProteusX SEO ("we," "us," or "the Service") is a search engine optimization management platform operated by ProteusX Consulting. This privacy policy describes how personal data is collected, used, and protected when you use the Service, including integrations with third-party services such as Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Meta, Stripe, and WHOOP.

Data Collection

When you connect third-party integrations, we may collect and store:

• Google Ads: Campaign performance data (impressions, clicks, conversions, spend)
• Google Search Console: Search performance data (queries, clicks, impressions, positions)
• Google Analytics 4: Website traffic and engagement metrics
• Google Business Profile: Business information, reviews, and review replies
• Meta: Page and ad account information, post performance
• WHOOP: Recovery scores, sleep data, strain and workout data, heart rate and HRV

We also store OAuth tokens (access tokens and refresh tokens) required to access these services on your behalf. These tokens are stored securely in our database.

Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

ProteusX SEO's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we:

• Only access data necessary to provide the features you have authorized
• Do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
• Do not sell Google user data to third parties
• Do not use Google user data to build user profiles for advertising
• Only allow humans to read your data when you have given affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or for our internal operations (and only when the data has been aggregated and anonymized)

Data Use

Your data is used solely to provide the Service's features, including SEO monitoring, reporting, rank tracking, review management, and campaign performance analysis. Data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to deliver the Service (e.g., sending reports via email).

Data Storage

Data is stored securely in encrypted databases. OAuth tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to client-side code. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

Data Deletion and Disconnecting Integrations

You may disconnect any third-party integration at any time from within the Service. When you disconnect an integration:

• Stored OAuth tokens for that service are immediately deleted
• We make a best-effort attempt to revoke the tokens with the third-party provider
• You may also revoke access at any time through the third-party service's own settings (e.g., your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions)
